Surrender to the sound
Welcome to an oasis of calm and serenity with Dhvani healing. Dhvani means sound, or resonance in Sanskrit. It’s the essence of all vibrations.‘Think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration” recommends Nikola Tesla, ‘if you want to find the secrets of the universe,’.
‘All sounds originate in space, from them arose creation’, says Sage of Kanchi, who goes on to add, ‘First came the universe of sound and then the universe that we observe’.The emphasis on sound, energy, frequency and vibrations underlines how physical and metaphysical planes are interconnected. The coarsest level of its expression is how gentle, sweet words affects us positively while the opposite has a negative impact. On deeper, subtler levels, sounds can heal and harmonise.

It's all vibration
Sound and You
Life is vibration. All of us are vibrating every second of our lives, while walking, talking, hearing, listening, feeling ... even thinking, because thought is vibration too at a subtle level. Sound healing works at a cellular level, penetrating to the deepest layer to bring harmony and peace to our nervous system. Singing bowls come in different shapes and sizes, with different sounds to resonate with the different chakras or energy centres of our body, delivering a holistic healing experience. Seven chakra bowls start from root chakra corresponding to C note. Going up from the root or mooladhara chakra on the spine, it ascends through the spine along sacral or swadishtana chakra (D note), manipura or solar plexus chakra (E), anahata or heart (F), visuddhi or throat chakra (G), agna or third eye chakra (A) ending at sahasrara or crown chakra (B).

Specific frequencies from the seven chakra bowls can help alleviate physical aches and pain and stimulate the healing processes in your body.
THE WAKEFUL SLEEP
Yoga Nidra
Literally ‘yoga sleep’, this method was invented by Swami Satyananda, disciple of the renowned Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. Derived from the tantras, yoga nidra helps you to relax consciously. It’s a state between sleep and wakefulness when the consciousness is ripe for any intention or sankalpa you plant in your mind.
Sankalpa has to be short, positive, in the present tense and express a higher purpose. In the present tense because when the brain is ripe, the intent is activated immediately. As for higher purpose, let’s say you want to quit a harmful habit. Instead of saying ‘I want to quit ’ you say, ‘I’m becoming healthier every day’. The higher healthier approach takes care of the smaller obstacles. Find your intent. Seek what you want from your life. Express it simply.

Singing bowls
Sound and you
Since all organs vibrate, it’s logical that they should have an optimal frequency. Our brain for instance has different frequencies at different levels. In Delta state, when we are in deep sleep or mediation, it’s at 0.5-4Hz when we are alert at Beta level, it’s 14-40Hz. Similarly other parts vibrate at various frequencies.
Sound healing brings balance and harmony to your whole body and mind at cellular level, promoting general well being and relaxation. The sounds from the 7 chakra bowls target the specific energy centres bathing you in waves of calming resonance.
Body work, that is placing bowls on the body, can help heal aches and pains.
However, it’s important to note sound healing through body work is not for everyone. Here are some of the conditions where it’s not recommended: Epilepsy •Pacemaker •Metal inserts and plates •Artificial joints •Skin conditions •Acute inflammations •Open wounds• Pregnancy

Breath and you
‘Take a deep breath, relax.’ How many times have you heard that in your life? Breath and emotions are more closely related than we think. Our breath is a reflection of our emotions and feelings. When we are stressed or in flight or fight situation, we breathe faster. When we are relaxed and in a safe environment, our breath is deep and steady. It follows that if we want to control how we feel, despite the external situation, we should be able to achieve it by changing the breathing we can be in a calmer state.
